Each year, the World Travel Awards (WTA) turns the spotlight on some of the people and companies behind the year's best travel products. In the 14th annual awards ceremony held in December 2007, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin was recognized with the following distinctions:

North America's Leading Resort
USA: Florida's Leading Resort
North America's Leading Conference Hotel

Judged by travel agents across the globe, the award's top category honor companies that are considered the best of the best in their industry. Other winners included Walt Disney World, which won in the category of World's Leading Theme Park/Attraction and Orlando, Florida which was awarded North America's Leading Destination.
